my stainless steel bottle smells like farts?
i bought a stainless steel bottle. every time i open it to take a drink, it smells really bad. what would this be from? the smell kind of diffuses after i open it, so i was thinking maybe there's bacteria in the water!! but the water in there is only a day old. i'm going to wash it tonight when i get home, but i was wondering if this is common.. or why is smells..
Fill it with warm water and put a couple of teaspoons of baking soda in and allow to sit until the water is room temp. Should remove any odors.
Alternatively clean it. soap and water but also you could use (VERY VERY CAREFULLY) and minute amount of bleach and lot of water, make sure its completely rinse out b4 using it obviously.
