What are some simple ways of getting a better reception with an outdoor television antenna?
I have a Winegard HD8200U Platinum Series (the best antenna for long distance). How can I improve antenna to get stations from farther away?
among the obvious answers of direction, increase height and booster; is what type of "lead in" line to use & where to install the booster:
use use RG59, RG6 or RG11 coax as the "lead in" wire - and put the booster/amplifier as close to antenna as posssible, not close to the TV (one example is the "inline booster" that has a 'walwart' power supply, that you plug in at the wall outlet next to the TV)
