Can somebody help me with Science Erosion Areas?
I need to know about Erosion and any other information you have in THESE areas:
Niagara Falls
Grand Canyon
Mount Olympus
Krakatoa
Death Valley
Norwegian Fjords (pronounced Fi-ords)
Mount Everest
Roosevelt Glacier Ice Balls
Sahara Desert Sand Dunes.
Thanks for all of you help.
The first thing you need to do for each of those is determine what agent of erosion is doing the most work. For instance, in Niagara Falls its water, in the Sahara it wind, in the fjords its ice and water.
Once you have determined this, do some research on how each of those methods of erosion behave, such how much material they can move over time and how they leave the landscape looking over time. You can apply this knowledge to the current landforms (e.g. this is why there are dunes, canyons, gorges, etc.) and make inferences about what it could have looked like prior to erosion.
Its not hard, you just need to do a little research and critical thinking.
