Can you touch up stovetop paint?
I am wanting to buy a used cooktop (black) but it has 2 spots on it where the paint has been scuffed off. I was wondering if it is possible to fix them.
Depending on what the original surface was, if it's glass I would say no. My mother had and old harvest gold on from the 70's before she got a new one. She used black engine paint and it worked as a cheap fixer for a while. However, if you're going with a different color than the original stove beware that it can chip and scratch. Make sure you use the engine paint, it needs to be able to handle high heat. Good luck.
