In line fuel filter on 1999 dodge caravan?
I had a bad connector where it connects on the gas tank about a month ago and I put a new inline filter in. On Christmas morning gas stared pouring out of the same fitting when I went to start it.
I crawled undr van and popped connector back on and it is fine again. Why is it coming off? Is it a pressure buildup so it relaeses on these quick connects? Or is it my fuel pump inside the freakin tank? Any comments would be helpful.
I would say that either you did not get it connected good or the connector is bad. The fuel pump on them has around forty pounds psi so the connection has to be good.
