My Truck died today,,, I think its the fuel pump or regulator...?
1996 Isuzu pickup, 2.2 L.eng.it stalled a couple times at a light, I kept starting it right up perfect, then it would stall when I gave it gas, then it finally kept going, and felt perfect, I floored it and it was fine then on the hi-way it slowed down and wouldnt go anymore, it starts up then stalls after a few secs., I dont have a fuel pres. gauge and no money to buy one and then buy a part, I have a compression. gauge and may try to fit it to the fuel rail,,just wondered if you all got any ideas. Thanks for any help Guys..

Try pounding the bottom of the gas tank with a mallet or your fist 2, 3, 4 times and see if your truck will start. If it starts, your fuel pump is bad.
