replacement for intergrated bath Grab Handles?
Our bath is approx 20 years and the brass finish on the intergrated grab rails on either side,has gone. I want to replace them with chrome , but cant find a retailer. Can anyone help? The bath has no name but is cast iron.

20 years old, I would just live with it until you get a new bathroom fitted, 20 years is old.
most bathroom i refit are between 12-23 years old.
a new bath will cost from £100 +fitting
cast ion baths are very heavy, don't make them like that any more, (shame) i don't think you got any chance of getting new handles. and getting to the nuts on the underside could be a lot of work, very heavy bath plus poss rusted nuts. I can just lift a cast iron bath, but only if your strong. For most people its a two person job just moving the bath. Get them chrome coated, you could try a bicycle paint spray outfit. (bikes are often have chrome coating)
sound like a lot of work.
Note, moden bath with handles have plastic handles. not solid brass, show of the brass handles (quality)
I take cast iron baths to the scrap metal yard. I get about £8 scrap value. cast iron baths with handles were common in the 1970's .
