Please explain to me how I can download the video from my Sony Handy cam CCD-TR517 to my Laptop?
I have a Sony Handy Cam L series CCD-TR517 and I would love to know how to get the video from that on to my lap top to share the video. Can you explain it to me in simple form and do I need to buy extra cord or what? Oh and my laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1521.
If its a camcorder you'll need a firewire to connect the camcorder to the computer the one with two small ends most likely for a laptop and capture software like windows movie maker (in Accessories). Once you've captured it, it will be an .avi file that you can attach to an email.
