Can I turn two lights from two sources into one light with a three way switch?
I own a duplex, the front porch has two lights right by each other. One light is controlled by the downstairs electric, the other is by the upstairs electric. They are separate power sources, and this is a very old building that doesn't have wiring that is bunched together (it's knob and tube). Is there a way that I could make it so there is just one light that is controlled by both upstairs and downstairs switches, WITHOUT adding any new wire?
You can do it without 3-way switches or extra wiring.
