What is the best tool box for a trailer?
I am looking for a tool box to mount on the tongue of our 4-wheeler trailer. My questions are:
Which material is better? Poly, Aluminum, or Steel
and
Is one brand better than the other?
On my trailers I use an old ammo box. They are tough, watertight, lockable and fairly inexpensive. If you have an Army Surplus store you can find them for around $8.00 to $12.00. If you need something bigger go with a steel box that you can weld on and the hasps are strong. I do have on one of my trailers is a truck box mounted on the front. This trailer is job specific so I need certain tools that I don' usually carry on my job truck.
