Water Heater adjustments for fleetwood wilderness travel trailer?
this trailer is about 3 years old . there is an on off switch, also a reset button initially i had to depress. also inside the trailer on the kitchen wall i have to turn on a switch marked heater.....when i turn it on, it lights the burner but only for about a minute. where is the adjustment so i can get it to heat the water for longer?
any answers appreciated/
Perhaps the thermocouple is bad. When the pilot is lit it heats up the tip of the thermocouple. The thermocouple produces an electrical current that allows the gas valve for the main burner to open. If the thermocouple is bad it won't allow the main burner valve to open and the water will not get hot. Thermocouples are known to wear out. Three years seems like a pretty premature wearout, though.
