System Hotrod Car
What is necessary for a car to obtain "Hotrod" classification for E Test in Ontario.?
mechanic replaced 97Volvo 850 engine with 94 Volvo 850 engine and did modifications to get it to fit [without authorization]. Intake manifold design and emissions systems pieces from 97 were never on 94.
But I am willing to bet that the engine block was the same , otherwise those 97 parts would not have worked on a 94. As for "Hot rod " status , Someone is blowing smoke in your face. Classic cars and those over 20 years old are exempt. You have a Volvo that is 11 years old, and hardly something that would classify as "hot rod". I don`t believe that anyone would ever consider a Volvo a hot rod. Here is one definition.http://www.britannica.com/eb/article-9041163/hot-rod
