Does anyone know why my lights won't work on an older American made boat trailer behind a 2007 Honda Ridgeline?
I've been told the ridgeline ues European circuitry which has a bulb for each function 1e. brake, turn signals, back up etc. What can I do?
Adapters are availble that will solve your compatability problem. You can find them at anyplace that sells trailer acessories. Auto parts stores, Walmart etc. It's an inexpensive device using diodes to combine the brake and turn single circuits from your car to the common 4 wire trailer design.
Brown = running/tail lights
Green = right turn/brake
Yellow = left turn/brake
White = common/ground
