Where is a good place to sell a used wedding ring set?
Have a lightly used (2 years) wedding ring set that cost about $5000-6000 new. Do not need it anymore and would like to sell it. Where would I get the best price for it? Ebay? Pawn shop? Jeweler? Thanks
You could list it in the local newspaper and get close to what you paid for it, maybe a thousand less, and I would bet that you would get maybe the same on Ebay but with more work. You can't just go on Ebay and sell an item at that cost with out having sold there before and you must start with low cost items. If you have an Ebay selling acct. and a positivee selling record up to that price then it would work. Also Ebay is now charging for selling. I would start with the local Newspaper. BUT never even consider a pawn shop...complete rip off. As for a jeweler none I have seen are willing to buy it but will often use it for you to trade UP to something else. Good luck!! xoxo
