Why does my Local Fire Department send a huge pumper truck and a big old utility truck to every call?
Neighbor slips in the shower, send all the equipment. Need donuts send the snorkle. They also run the sirens at full blast. Are sirens getting louder by law or something?
Now I dont mind all this. But measure DD increases our taxes by a large % so they can send more crap to you house. If you live in Miami vote no.
Are there any sheep that feel safer with that? Give me some guys in HUMVEES.
In an emergency situation it is better to have something you don't need - than to need something you don't have.
My city sends paramedics, a fire truck and the police to every emergency assistance call - then sends back the units that are not needed.
