Some Electrical Ideas on power to my cargo trailer.?
I have a 5X8 Cargo Trailer that I haul 2 ice cream coolers in when I go to fairs and festivals.
I of course haul ice cream in both these coolers, so I need a way to power these 2 coolers??
They are 8 tub coolers regular 110V.
I have a generator but I am looking for an alternative to using it.
Since the tongue of my trailer is too small for the generator and I would have to put it inside the trailer and vent the exhaust outside.

You could run a 12V power lead from the truck to the trailer, and fit the trailer with a 12V to 110V inverter. I don't know how much juice your coolers would require, but you can get inverters up to 3000 watts. You MAY need to install a second alternator on your truck to provide enough 12V power for the inverter...
You might want to talk to someone with a bit of electrical knowledge to make sure you're not going to burn something up...
