Wiring Subwoofer Amp to 2006 Jeep Liberty. Help?
I've gotten the amp and the sub all hooked up. I just need to hook up the turn-on wire. What I'm not sure of is what do I need to do to hook the turn-on wire to my stereo? Do I need a wire harness for my stereo? I went into Best Buy and one of the employees tried saying I needed to buy a RCA converter, but I'm using the Boss 10-Gauge Amplifier Kit (http://www.walmart.com/ip/Boss-10-Gauge-Amplifier-Installation-Kit/11968794) that I bought from Walmart.
ok if ur using a stock stereo then u need to pull it out, locate the remote wire that turns on with the key, get a 3 $ test light and find the wire that has pwr with the key on but not when its off, splice in and ur good, any aftermarket deck shld have a special wire just for ur amp lead
