How do I move a heavy dresser?
I want to buy a dresser I saw off craigslist and Ive been talking to the woman who owns it. Im definately going to buy it, but I have no way to get it home. I dont own a truck, dont know anyone who owns a truck. I would rent one from Lowes for like 20 bucks but how am I going to lift a heavy dresser up onto a truck with no help? I thought about renting a uhaul trailer to drag behind my car, but I dont have a hitch. Ive got my heart set on it, so dont tell me to forget about it, any thoughts?
Find a strong man and rent a truck w/ an appliance dolly. I just moved and my little brother moved my dresser by himself with a dolly. He tilted it straight up, strapped it on the dolly and moved it.
